The Wolf of Wall Street is three hours of shocking, uncensored chaos!

This crime comedy again star Leonardo DiCaprio, this time playing the role of unhinged stockbroker Jordan Belfort. What may be difficult for audiences to believe upon watching the film for the first time, is that most of the movie’s content is remarkably not fiction.

The women, the drugs, that boat incident; corporate sleaze has never been exposed so explicitly as it is here, and the film is arguably Scorsese’s best of the 2010s.

The Wolf of Wall Street opens with an advert for the stock exchange investment firm Stratton Oakmont promoting a professional image with the company’s values stating "Stability, integrity, pride". Then, without intermission, the scene swiftly transitions to the real values of the company - absurd mayhem!

Crowded around a target, Belfort and his fellow conmen gather to bet ridiculous amounts of money on a game based around tossing a little person. We are then introduced to Belfort, who proceeds to brag about his extravagant and intense lifestyle.

Filled with extreme profanity and an unbelievable degree of sleaze, the opening scene sets the tone for a truly shocking, vulgar story that continues to fascinate audiences more than eight years after it’s release.
