10 Best Performances In Harry Potter
7. Rupert Grint - Ron Weasley

Harry’s best friend was a constant source of comic relief in Rowling’s stories, so it was integral that whoever played Ron Weasley was capable of pulling off both physical and verbal comedy.
Even during Harry’s first train journey, Rupert Grint was amusing, and he continued to be throughout. Though every entry in the series allowed Grint to show off his comedic abilities, his funniest moment was undoubtedly in the sixth movie when Ron temporarily became infatuated with Romilda Vane.
As great as Grint was at humour, he was also able to showcase the more dramatic side to Ron’s character as well. In The Deathly Hallows, for instance, the scene in which Ron left Harry and Hermione allowed Grint to exemplify the darker side of his character.
Granted, there were other characters who undertook a more noteworthy evolution across the series, but as with Coltrane’s performance, it’s hard to envision anyone else playing Ron other than Grint.
