10 Best Sci-Fi Movies Of 2020

The first entry on this list discussed how rare it is to see a decent Lovecraft movie, but it's even rarer to get a long-awaited sequel that actually does justice to its predecessors. Viewers had been without the fantastic time-travelling duo Bill and Ted for almost thirty years, so it came as a massive shock when a third instalment was announced. But what came as an even bigger surprise was that the movie was excellent - guitar noises.

This third film deals with a much older Bill and Ted, who are searching for the signature sound they are destined to unite the world with. To find the song before reality collapses, they travel into the future, and as can be expected, a tonne of mishaps ensue.

The film creatively brings the characters back and does an excellent job of introducing new roles to the world, such as their daughters and the hilarious Dennis Caleb McCoy - a time-travelling robot sent to kill them.

Everything comes together nicely in this long-awaited sequel, as the story is concluded in a satisfying - but incredibly abrupt - manner, and viewers are given the best possible performances from Reeves and Winter in their famous roles.
