10 Best Spider-Man Villains We've Yet To See In Movies

6. Chameleon

Spider Man Hobgoblin
Marvel Comics

Chameleon is another long-running Spider-Man bad guy who, technically, has been in a movie before.

The bus driver in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Spider-Man: Far From Home is called Dimitri. This is a nod to Dimitri Smerdyakov, the original man behind the Chameleon character.

However, as with Alistair Smythe, this isn't the version of the character people want to see.

As his name would suggest, Chameleon is a master of disguise. Over the years, his ability to change his face has come from elaborate makeup, feature-altering chemicals, and even holograms.

Basically, when times have changed, this villain has changed with him.

Smerdyakov has been a thorn in Peter Parker's side since the very beginning of his time as a hero. As he was the villain in The Amazing Spider-Man #1 from 1963, that makes Chameleon the very first member of Spidey's rogues gallery.

This only makes it more bizarre that the character still hasn't properly appeared in a big-time motion picture. He isn't the most threatening villain of all time, but he'd make a great secondary antagonist or even just a henchman.

He's waited over 60 years for this, people! Cut the man some slack!
