8. Incredibles 2 (2018)
Ever since the release of 2004's Incredibles, fans were begging Brad Bird to make a sequel. It was always one of the few in Pixar's library that invited new stories to be made and finally after 14 years, it came out and was nothing like anyone was expecting.
Set literally immediately after the first film finished, the Parr family are outlawed once again for failing to stop their nemesis, but are given the chance to repair the reputation of supers with the help of a business tycoon. This time, however, Elastigirl is chosen to lead the charge, while Mr. Incredible is left at home to look after the kids.
Funny, imaginative (the bike chase is utterly genius) and with truly amazing animation... there's really no other world for this sequel except "incredible".
