As incredible as Avengers: Endgame may have been, it didn't have the cultural impact Black Panther did in 2018. This was more than a movie; it was a movement and revolution. Many fans were finally given the chance to see themselves represented on screen, and "Wakanda Forever" became a calling card of sorts for representation and diversity in Hollywood.

Some criticised the action-packed, CGI-heavy final act, but Erik Killmonger was a terrific villain with a plan that, for once, made perfect sense. This is also the first, and only, Marvel Studios movie to be nominated for "Best Picture," and given the competition it faced that year, it should have won. Chadwick Boseman's tragic death makes Black Panther all the more poignant, and this serves as a fitting tribute to the late actor.
