With an impressive 113.755% score, critics loved everything about this Multiverse spanning adventure which saw wall-crawlers from across the entire "Spider-Verse" assemble. "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse matches bold storytelling with striking animation for a purely enjoyable adventure with heart, humor, and plenty of superhero action," reads the Critics Consensus.

There was definitely something special about Into the Spider-Verse, though, and the fact it had so much heart meant it resonated with moviegoers in a big way.

Following Miles' story was a lot of fun, and the unique, amazing animation style was like nothing fans had seen before in a superhero movie. The addition of characters like Peter Parker, Spider-Gwen, and even Spider-Ham helped, as did the spectacular voice cast. This was a real gem, and deserves its place here.
