10 Best Teen Comedies Of The Decade

1. Lady Bird

A24

No other film could've made the number one spot on this list. Beloved by audiences and critics alike, Lady Bird is all-around just a fantastic film, with a protagonist so eccentric and quirky she rightfully deserves the title of her film.

When this film came out, it was all the film buff community could ever talk about. And deservedly so, too - the filmmaking in this one is just superb. Moreso, the film leans more heavily towards drama, dealing with heavy themes like class relations and mental illness (which might explain why it garnered more Oscar nominations than any of the other films in this list.)

But even so, this film still manages to make you laugh out loud. Lady Bird is just such a lovable protagonist, it's hard not to laugh at all her crazy antics. From naming herself so ridiculously to vandalizing her teacher's car, she reminds us of when we were young and were so desperately trying to seem cooler than we were.

Quirky, offbeat, and above all charming, Lady Bird is the best teen comedy of the decade.
