10 Best Winter Themed Horror Films

P2 is a psychological horror in which a woman is left stranded alone and left fighting for her life on what should be the beginning of her Christmas break from work. Released in 2007, P2 was directed by Franck Khalfoun and written by Alexandra Aja, and stars Wes Bentley and Rachel Nichols as victim and stalker. It is a cat-and-mouse thriller full of tension from the outset.

Central character Angela is looking forward to visiting family for a party. It is Christmas Eve and she is looking forward to a break from work. However, things are not going to run smoothly; they never do in scary movies. Angela goes to the underground parking lot when she is ready to leave and discovers her vehicle won't start. Worried, she heads back into her workplace only to discover she has been locked inside the building. Trying to get help and seeking a way to get out, Nichols' character soon discovers she is not alone and that a man in the building watching her is out to get her.

The production is full of jump scares and tense scenes, with great performances from the lead characters. There's enough horror in this winter-set movie to keep film fanatics glued until the chilling finale.
