The Movie: Casey Affleck, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Anthony Mackie, Aaron Paul, Woody Harrelson, Kate Winslet; even if Triple Nine is utter rubbish, it's still got one hell of a cast (and makes Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon that bit easier - Affleck was with the trivia machine in Lemon Sky). A cop thriller with gangsters and betrayal aplenty, and John Hillcoat at the helm, it should be alright though. Original Release Date: 11th September 2015 Second Release Date: 4th March 2016 Final Release Date: 26th February 2016 Why Did It Change: As a movie that, despite that cast, had minimal hype, not much time has been spent theorising on why Triple 9's been shunted about, although it most likely stems from attempts to avoid competition; when the film first set on the 11th September release date it had it all to itself, but over time several other films with broad appeal moved in, similar to the second, 4th March slot.
