10 Biggest Blockbuster Movie Disappointments Of 2013

4. World War Z

world_war_z_38189Budget: $190 million Now I must admit, I was warned before stepping inside the theater to watch this piece of crap movie, but of course, I did it anyway. World War Z SUCKED. Plain and simple. In a desperate attempt to capitalize on the current zombie trend, World War Z is a piece of crap. The story follows Gerry (Brad Pitt) and his quest find out what's happening to everyone and why are they turning into zombies. The film really turns into Gerry become more concerned about his family then anything else. It almost makes you fell like there's no one else of importance in the movie. Most of the character are as naive as the studio - the film has a PG-13 rating for goodness sake! How could any good movie about zombies not be rated R? Actually I take that back, considering nothing could've helped this movie succeed. Gerry plays the typical hero during his journey in finding the cure. Which brings to the worst part of the movie, the ending. He finds a cure, takes it himself and that's it, problem solved. WEAK. The ending is so lazy and unimaginative that you leave the theater with a bitter taste in your mouth. Not a feeling you should have after just seeing a 190 million dollar movie.
