A forgotten film before it even premiered, this animated feature starred Seth Green and Joan Cusack, and was directed by Back to the Future's Robert Zemeckis.

With quality talent behind the film and a substantial $175 million budget—largely due to the 3D motion capture utilized for animation—it's surprising that it was destined to fail.

However groundbreaking the technology used, it wasn't to break even, opening to a measly $6.8 million in its first week. Though its domestic gross rose to $21 million, its ultimate worldwide gross only managed to reach $38 million.
