10 Biggest Characters The MCU Hasn't Used Yet

8. Captain Britain

Doctor Doom
Marvel Comics

With the appearance of Captain Carter in the Disney+ show, What If? as well as a cameo in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, a considerable amount of interest in the integration of Captain Britain into the MCU has been sparked amongst fans.

Though not as popular as Captain America, Captain Britain is still a relatively well-known and well-liked hero, and it now seems possible that he could be joining the MCU in the future. In a 2021 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Henry Cavill said that he had "seen the various rumours about Captain Britain, and that would be loads of fun to do a cool, modernised version of that".

A Henry Cavill Captain Britain is not impossible, as rumours suggested that the actor has been in talks with Marvel to join the MCU. According to entertainment insiders, like Emmet Kennedy, Cavill, amongst some other actors, have all signed to join Marvel's Phase 5 in some as-of-yet undisclosed roles. However, these rumours also stated that these actors, and their roles, would be officially unveiled at the D23 Expo. As this did not happen, this throws considerable doubt on the rumours' validity. So, for the mean time, it seems like fans will need to stay patient for a Captain Britain in the MCU.
