Deadpool might not fit with the MCU's vision for comic book movie characters (he might well be the least Disney superhero of all time, when you think about it), but he's lucrative and that's all that should matter when Disney are considering their assets in the wake of any deal. If they're smart, they'll let the Merc With A Mouth continue to exist as he does now, giving Ryan Reynolds basically free reign to do as he pleases with the character.

What they'll get in return is a hugely motivated fanbase (who turned a little property into a major commodity for Fox), opportunities to do something completely different and a truly great character (and actor behind it). Why wouldn't they want to dial into that?

They'd be idiotic to cancel him, no matter how different his world is. He can exist outside the main MCU, after all, and him being under Marvel's control would mean we could get better supporting characters for his movies. Because - no disrespect - characters of the calibre of Ajax ain't gonna cut it in the long term.
