10 Biggest Lies All Movie Goers Tell Themselves

5. You Are Going To Like This Movie

Sucker Punch was briefly alluded to earlier, in that it grabbed my attention with a trailer that promised it was going to deliver something spectacular, but in the end it just seemed like a teenage boys wildest fantasies and imagination had exploded on screen, in a rather misogynistic manner. You can try to convince yourself before the movie starts that you are going to enjoy the next few hours because you have been drip fed snippets of the film through posters and trailers and special features found on the internet; but once you actually sit down and power through the actual film you find yourself checking your watch at regular intervals wishing the time away and wondering how long can you spend in the toilet so you don't have to go back and watch any more of the film, but not too long that people think you may have collapse on the floor. It is a tricky situation and one that is becoming more and more apparent when the publicity for the finished film is far better than the actual film you end up seeing.
