Spider-Man: Far From Home ended with a bombshell when Mysterio, moments before his death, recorded and released a video that included a false accusation that Spider-Man caused the attacks by the Elemental monsters which were, in reality, all illusions created by Mysterio. On top of that, the message also leaked Spider-Man's identity as Peter Parker to the whole world.

Parker was one of the few Avengers to manage to keep his identity secret but the leaked video by Mysterio ruined all of that and made it hard for him and his friends to get accepted into any schools. All of this changed Parker's life and led to his decision to alter reality in Spider-Man: No Way Home, a decision that is likely to have dire consequences in the upcoming movie, Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness.

Mysterio's message was a great way to turn the public against Spider-Man and set up the story for the next film. Beyond that, the appearance of J. Jonah Jameson sharing the message on live T.V. was a nice touch!
