One of the biggest disappointments among fans so far is that it appears that Deathstroke, one of the most-requested DC characters for a screen treatment, most likely won't be appearing in the movie. Despite original rumours that Joe Manganiello was going to play the character, and the belief of some fans that Scott Eastwood's character may end up being Deathstroke, it seems that he more likely isn't showing up in Suicide Squad. Though the film will already be chock full of iconic characters, it's a shame that there wasn't a way to make room for one of Batman's most awesome foes, especially as this was pretty much the perfect movie to introduce him in a small way and then build on it further in future Batman films. We can't say for certain that this is the case, of course, but is there really much benefit of concealing Deathstroke's involvement in the film? If he were in it, it would make sense to let the fans know, especially considering how divisive fan reaction to the movie is so far. What are your expectations for Suicide Squad?
