10 Biggest Mistakes Suicide Squad Has Already Made
8. The Joker's Tattoos
Easily the most contentious aspect of Suicide Squad so far is how The Joker will be depicted. The Internet damn-near broke when the first picture of Jared Leto as the Clown Prince of Crime was released, with fans expressing reservations about his array of body tattoos, and most specifically, the word "damaged" being tattooed on his forehead. The most recent trailer confirms that he won't have the tattoo for the entire movie (it's not visible during a presumed flashback sequence), but it's still a major source of concern for some fans, who feel like this reflects a movie that's trying too hard to be "edgy", and that it perhaps misses the point of the Joker as a character. Apart from how ridiculous it looks, some have complained that The Joker wouldn't be self-aware enough to acknowledge how insane he is (though that is massively up for debate). Even if the depiction ends up being great, though, expect many fans to ridicule this aesthetic choice forever more.
