Those of you hoping that Damon Lindelof would answer the various questions posed in his latest series, HBO's The Leftovers, by year's end should meter your expectations, because the network has officially renewed the series for a second season. It took a while for HBO to renew the series, which is quickly approaching the end of its freshman year, likely due to its divisive reaction from viewers. While many have lauded the series for its performances and writing, others have either dropped the series because of its scenes of graphic and surprising violence (as well as fear of a lack of concrete answers, of course). With only three episodes left this season, and nearly every element of the plot still left unexplained, it's exciting to hear that we'll be getting another season, if only to give us more time to dissect the show's various clues and try to figure out what the heck is going on with the Guilty Remnant.
