7. Simon Pegg And Edgar Wright Will Reunite!

Cornetto fans rejoice, because geek-favorite director Edgar Wright and his frequent star Simon Pegg are teaming up for another project. Pegg dropped the news himself while speaking with Digital Spy, and said that though the Cornetto Trilogy (which consisted of Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and last year's The World's End) has come to a close, he and Wright are still very interested in collaborating, and are currently prepping a new film:
"Edgar and I were having a conversation the other day about it, and it has a title and everything. We're kind of into a creative cycle now. When we said the trilogy was over, it was because that group of films was over. They€™re all kind of related with each other and deal with a specific idea. There€™s a criteria to those films. The next thing we do won€™t do that, it will just be something else. It will happen. We made three films in ten years and hopefully in the next decade we€™ll make another three. I really love working with those guys and I wouldn't ever not want to work with them. It's not even a question."
Three more films from Wright and Pegg (and probably Nick Frost as well)?! Yes please! Exactly when we can expect to see the film is unknown, as both Pegg and Wright have full resumes ahead of them. Wright is currently working on Baby Driver and Grasshopper Jungle, while Pegg is picking up high-profile projects left and right, like Mission: Impossible 5, Star Trek 3, and possibly Star Wars Episode VII. Regardless of when it happens, it will undoubtedly be worth the wait.
