8. Toby Kebbel And Sigourney Weaver Join A Monster Calls

Kebbel Weaver The Impossible director's J.A. Bayona's high-profile dark fantasy A Monster Calls gained two great cast members this week, as Toby Kebbel (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) and Sigourney Weaver have signed on to star alongside Felicity Jones (The Amazing Spider-Man 2) and Liam Neeson. Based on Patrick Ness' award-winning children's fantasy novel, A Monster Calls focuses on a young boy who attempts to deal with bullying at school as well as his mother's cancer diagnosis by retreating into a fantasy world, full of dark and dangerous creatures. One of the monsters (played by Neeson) follows him back into the real world, which comes with devastating consequences. A Monster Calls hits theaters on October 14th, 2016.
