5. New Looney Tunes Movie In The Works With Steve Carell

Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz, the writing duo behind X-Men: First Class and Lionsgate's upcoming Power Rangers reboot, have been hired by Warner Brothers to pen a script for ACME, a live-action/CGI hybrid based on the company made famous by the beloved and iconic Looney Tunes cartoon. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Crazy Stupid Love directors Glenn Ficarra and John Requa are in discussions to helm the project under The LEGO Movie producers Dan Lin and Roy Lee, with Steve Carell in consideration to star. The plot for the film is unknown, though it's expected that classic Looney Tunes characters like Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck won't be the focus and will instead have cameo roles.
