8. House of Cards Season 2 Trailer

Houseofcards House of Cards, the incredibly successful series produced by and exclusively for Netflix, helped establish the streaming service as a viable network of its own, and fans have been anxiously awaiting its return since binge-watching the entire first season earlier this year. The show received nine Emmy nominations (winning three) and just got nominated for four Golden Globes, and production on the second season is nearing a close. Last week we were treated to a teaser trailer featuring Robin Wright's Claire Underwood smoking a cigarette, which did nothing but reignite the vigorous enthusiasm fans have for the show. Luckily, we were finally given our first real glimpse at the show's return on Thursday when Netflix released the first trailer for the show and an official synopsis. You can read the synopsis here, and view the trailer below:
Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) has masterfully maneuvered his way into the Vice Presidency, but his ascension faces threats on all fronts... Investigative reporter Zoe Barnes (Kate Mara) is inching closer to the truth about Frank and Peter Russo (Corey Stoll) and will stop at nothing to break the story. And Frank's wife Claire (Robin Wright), the newly appointed Second Lady, must deal with the bright glare of the spotlight and how the intense scrutiny eats away at their once private existence. Season two, exclusively on Netflix in all territories on February 14, 2014. Let the butchery begin...
