10 Biggest Movie And TV News This Week (Dec 28)

1. Avengers: Age Of Ultron Getting Another Villain

Baron Our last bit of movie news comes from Marvel Studios as well, this time concerning their most anticipated project, Avengers: Age of Ultron. The sequel to their extremely successful team-up film arrives in theaters on May 1, 2015, and features Earth's Mightiest Heroes battling against the villainous AI known as Ultron (voiced by The Blacklist's James Spader). Ultron is a powerful, formidable villain, but may require a bit of backup when facing off against the Avengers (who will this time be joined by Col. James Rhodes, Quicksilver, and Scarlet Witch). Earlier this week Latino-Review reported that Baron Wolfgang von Strucker, a HYDRA villain from Captain America's WWII days, may be joining the fray. In the comics, von Strucker utilizes a combination of HYDRA supersoldier serums and a special bionic arm (known as Satan's Claw) to maintain his youth and strength throughout the ages. He's also known as helping Black Widow become the dangerous assassin we know and love. His inclusion in the film should be interesting, especially since HYDRA has yet to resurface in the MCU. As of right now, it's only speculation that he will be involved, but Latino Review is known for their insider scoops so chances are von Strucker will get his chance to do some serious damage on the big screen in 2015. That's it for this week's WhatCulture news brief! What did you think of the stories this week? Are you excited for the new and returning shows?
