10. The Raid 2 Nabs 2014 Release Date
The Raid: Redemption was one of the biggest surprises and breakout hits of 2011. Gareth Evans directed the Indonesian action film that has sinced gained a cult status, and jumped right on board for a sequel. Now, Sony Pictures and Stage 6 have set their sights on a March 28, 2014 release date for The Raid 2, which according to Evans will pick up right after the events of the first film. The film will follow Rama (Iko Uwais) as he goes undercover in order to protect his family and uncover the corruption in his own police force.
