3. David Yates' Tarzan Swinging Into Theaters Summer 2016

Tarzan I'd almost forgotten that David Yates (who directed the last four Harry Potter films) was working on a big budget, live-action, 3D Tarzan adaptation; but apparently the movie is moving forward with True Blood's Alexander Skarsgard in the titular role. He'll be joined by Wolf of Wall Street's Margot Robbie as Jane, Django Unchained star Christoph Waltz as the villain, and Samuel L. Jackson as a Civil War veteran and friend to Tarzan. Jerry Weintraub had this to say about the film's new start:
"I am so pleased to be reuniting with the team at Warner Bros. on this thrilling project. David Yates and I are going to be using the best of today's technology in creating this new adventure, and we can't wait to get started."
