4. Details for Marvel's All Hail The King One-Shot
Last week details were released regarding the Blu-Ray and DVD release of Thor: The Dark World, and with it came the official title for Marvel's next One-Shot short film: All Hail the King. No other details were given, which sent Marvel fans reeling with excitement and discussing what the One-Shot could be about and which character(s) it would feature. Those hoping for a Loki-centric short will be disappointed to find out that it will in fact revolve around Trevor Slattery (Ben Kingsley), in prison after the events of Iron Man 3 and finally getting the fame he's always wanted. A few images were released confirming this news, and with it comes an exciting easter egg that hints at another Marvel character fans have been dying (read: begging) to see brought into the fold: Luke Cage. In the image above you'll notice that Slattery has been incarcerated in Seagate Prison, which just so happens to be where Carl Lucas, AKA Luke Cage, was sentenced (for a crime he didn't commit). Knowing Marvel Studios, it's no coincidence that it's the same prison, and with a Luke Cage TV show coming to Netflix soon, it's a safe bet to assume that Marvel is laying the groundwork for the fan-favorite character. Of course, we'll know more when Thor: The Dark World arrives on home release on February 25th.
