We've already discussed Marvel's first television show, and now it's time to look ahead at what's coming next. After all, Marvel Studios is known for thinking ahead, and regardless of how you feel about Agents of SHIELD, they don't plan to stop making TV shows anytime soon. They've already signed a great 4-series deal with Netflix, and are slowly moving forward with an Agent Carter show as well. When we last saw Agent Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell), it was on the Iron Man 3 blu-ray, where she starred in her own eponymous One-Shot. It's been rumored that a show of her very own was in the works, and according to Deadline, is just waiting for the greenlight. According to the site, Atwell will be reprising her role and the show will be written and executive produced by Reaper creators Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas (who've also worked on shows like Dollhouse and the Hawaii Five-O reboot). The Agent Carter One-Shot was great, so it's exciting to see Marvel taking such a big risk with the character. Presumably the show will be a period piece, and is being developed for ABC.
