To celebrate the end of Phase Two, Marvel have released a limited edition box-set loaded with goodies; alongside the mountain of bonus features theres a replica Morag orb containing an Infinity Stone, special accompanying artwork for each film and most exciting of all - a page from the book of the Dark Elves! Okay, so maybe that last one isnt the most exciting thing. Of course what fans really want is to learn things about the movies they didnt already know, and possibly glean some news on Phase Three at the same time. Marvel know their fanbase well, as the extra features contained within the set reveals lot of shiny new info about past and future movies. One thing thats clear from watching this bonus content is that they put a lot of thought into everything they do, and they really, really love their job. With the box-set being a pricey limited edition thing thats only available on Region One (scandalous) a lot of fans wont get the chance to experience it for themselves; but thanks to the magic of the internet they can learn the key secrets without having to fork out for a Region Free Blu-ray player...
10. The End Credit Tags Are Rarely Planned
Marvel have become famous for adding extra scenes at the end of the credits, which tease upcoming adventures for their characters. For a company that prides itself on planning ahead though Feige reveals that most of their tags are usually afterthoughts, with most of them being shot at the last-minute. The Iron Man 2 tag where S.H.I.E.L.D finds the crater with Thors hammer was originally the opening scene of Thor, until Marvel decided it would make a perfect teaser. The same thing happened with Thor: The Dark World; the movie was being shot at the same time as Guardians Of The Galaxy, so Marvel decided to use a scene with The Collector to tie the films together. The most famous tag - the Shawarma scene at the end of The Avengers - was an added moment that was born out of a Robert Downey, Jr. improvisation.
