2. The Angry Birds Movie Will Somehow Be Hilarious
At this point, Angry Birds Fatigue is a very real thing. The crazy amount of marketing and merchandising means there's everything from Angry Birds stuffed toys to Angry Birds pyjamas to Angry Birds board games. Somehow, however, it looks like the Angry Birds film is shaping up to be genuinely funny. For a start, the film is amusingly self-aware, purporting to tell the story of how the birds became angry in the first place. Secondly, it's co-directed by one of the people who animated Frozen, Wreck-It Ralph and Tangled, three legitimately funny movies. On top of that, the film has a great, diverse cast, including Peter Dinklage, Jason Sudeikis and Bill Hader. But the most convincing thing? The film's trailer, which dropped in late 2015.
