10 Bold Predictions About The Post-Justice League DCEU
4. Cyborg Will Be A Buddy Movie
Cyborg had the potential to be an inspiring inclusion in Justice League. His character arc taking him from self-loathing to self-acceptance after a near-fatal accident could have made him a role model, but he didn't get nearly enough screen time for that.
The movie's handling of Vic Stone did little to explain to the world why he deserves to be anything other than the League's least-known hero, and his reception is likely to be giving Warner execs sleepless nights about the prospects of his 2020 solo movie.
To heighten the movie's appeal, the plans for Cyborg will likely be rejigged so the title character shares the spotlight with a more mainstream hero, similar to how Thor: Ragnarok used the Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic.
The Flash is the obvious candidate for a co-starring role, after the way he hit it off with Vic in Justice League. Pairing them up could make for a buddy movie brimming with youthful energy, but Captain Marvel is also a potential option since Shazam! will hit cinemas before Cyborg, and the two characters have shared history in the comics.
