10 Brits You Never Realised Were In Pixar Films

6. Helen Mirren

As Pixar's two Monsters films have shown, mosnters themselves come in all shapes and sizes. By far the biggest and scariest has to be a dragon, especially when it is one seemingly crossed with a giant millipede. And that's about the best description of Abigail Hardscrabble, dean of the School of Scaring at Monsters University. Scary she might be, but throughout Mike and Sulley's time at MU she also proves that she is at least fair (to a point) and honourable to go with it. After having the pair of would be scarers removed from the scaring program she enters into a bet with them. If they win the University's Scar Games then they will be readmitted, but if they don't, they leave MU altogether. Hardly a role which would have posed too much of a challenge to Mirren, an actress well known for playing both tough roles, as well as those with more of a flair for humour. These include her starring role in Prime Suspect, as well as light hearted films such as RED, and Calendar Girls.
