5. Death By Falling Window - Final Destination 2 (2003)

For those seeking ingeniously vicious movie deaths by the load, The Final Destination series is an invaluable source to tap into. It might be a stretch to say that any death in the franchise truly comes out of nowhere, seeing as how each and every film is about the characters getting bumped off one by one, but Tim's (James Kirk) death in Final Destination 2 is still a) completely unpredictable (the randomness of it is something special, even for a Final Destination movie), and b) extraordinarily violent.
