10 Characters That Could Appear In X-Men: Apocalypse
8. Alison Blaire - Dazzler
The 70s may be over and disco may very well be dead, but that doesn't mean we couldn't get this mutie in the 80s-themed X-Men sequel. Although many fans would be thrilled to see the film pay homage to Dazzler's iconic silver one-piece, they could actually modify her to fit the era by making her a Cyndi Lauper-style songstress! With the absences of Angel Salvadore and Emma Frost from the First Class line-up, Mystique remains the lone female among the mutant characters inhabiting the X-Men's past (unless they introduce someone in DOFP). The female side of the First Class cast is seriously lacking and the introduction of Dazzler would not only add an element of lightness (no pun intended) and fun, but it would also showcase an array of dazzling (pun intended) powers since Dazzler is able to take sound and translate it into lasers, holograms, and concussive blasts of light. Not only would Dazzler be an interesting character to implement in the movie timeline, she actually was involved in the AOA storyline in the comics with greatly augmented powers and has, in the years since, developed an avid fan following.
