10 Characters That Could Appear In X-Men: Apocalypse
7. Ororo Munroe - Storm
With Singer announcing that we would see younger versions of some familiar faces (and spoilers alerting us that a few uncredited people from the original trilogy actually do make a few surprise returns in DOFP), Storm is a very likely candidate to show up in Apocalypse no matter what her fate is in DOFP. Not only does a younger Storm open up the chance of a new actress taking over the role and bringing "the African Goddess" aspect that Halle Berry seems to have lacked in all of her performances as Storm after the first X-Men film, but the fact that the film is set in the 80s brings about the likelihood that we'll see the Storm that most people love: leather-clad, mohawk Storm! Let's face facts, the movies will always be "very loose" adaptations of the comic source material, but they are rife with Easter Eggs, shout-out's, and homages and tributes to things that fanboys and fangirls have always loved most. It's not completely outside the realm of possibility that we could get a cooler, younger, and more kick-ass Storm in her leather vest and pants, sporting that amazing 'do that became so iconic. As stated with Dazzler, the female cast in the X-Men's past timeline is seriously lacking and needs at least one female addition that could be just as useful and entertaining to watch as Mystique.
