3. Scoot McNairy Reportedly As Jimmy Olsen

It is virtually impossible to dislike Jimmy Olsen. He is the lovable kid who is handed the undesirable tasks in the Daily Planet's newsroom. He didn't appear in Man Of Steel, but it looks like he will be popping up in Dawn Of Justice. Earlier this year pictures emerged from the set of Dawn Of Justice showing Scoot McNairy running around with green tape around the bottom of his legs. Many felt that this signalled that he was the Flash, but rumours now suggest that he will be appearing as the Daily Planet€™s famous Copy Boy. These rumours posit that the lower half of his legs were lost during Superman€™s battle with Zod; this would give him a level of depth which has so far been missing from the character€™s on screen performance. The actor has appeared in a string of supporting roles, and he has a geeky enough look to pull off the young Jimmy Olsen, despite being only slightly younger than Ben Affleck, who will be portraying a mature Bruce Wayne in this film. The geeky look is imperative to this performance and McNairy is able to combine this nerd-like aura with the charisma to make audiences grow attached to the character.
