2. Jeremy Irons As Alfred

He faced off against Bruce Willis in Die Hard III, he voiced the evil Scar in the Lion King, and now he€™s going to be playing Batman€™s lovable butler Alfred. Jeremy Irons' stately manner and thespian training make him the perfect choice to play Bruce Wayne€™s loyal assistant, and his memorable voice means that even if he does not receive lots of screen time, he will still make his mark on the iconic character. Presumably he will reprise his role in Justice League and future Batman solo outings, so all he needs to do in Dawn Of Justice is make sure that the audience see him approaching the role uniquely. Michael Caine played Alfred Pennyworth exceptionally well - he clearly cared for Bruce Wayne, and uniquely he had a sense of humour. Jeremy Irons will be able to take a different angle to this; perhaps this Alfred will sound posher, and maybe has a darker side than the one in the Dark Knight Trilogy. Either way, Irons is arguably the best man for this role. He has the credentials to show that he is able to fight for himself, and he has the gentile English manner that most people associate with Batman's loyal butler.
