10 Characters Emily Blunt Could Be Playing In The MCU

Spider-Man: Far From Home concluded with a jaw-dropping cliffhanger as Mysterio outed the web-slinger's secret identity to the world. Framed for Quentin Beck's murder, Peter Parker is going to have to go on the run and that means there will be a lot of people looking to take him down.

Well, how about Jessica Drew? Known to comic book fans as Spider-Woman, the hero has also worked for S.H.I.E.L.D. and, in the Ultimate line of comic books, reported to the C.I.A. The character wouldn't necessarily need to have superpowers when we meet her in the next Spider-Man movie but this adventure could serve as an origin story which sets the stage for Blunt to suit up somewhere down the line.

Blunt is arguably at her best playing a badass - just look at Edge of Tomorrow - and while Spidey is bound to face off with yet another classic comic book villain, having a female antagonist who is also chasing him down would make for an enjoyable subplot. Plus, it's about time Jessica make her presence felt in the MCU.
