10 Characters Emily Blunt Could Be Playing In The MCU

Marvel Studios is taking its time bringing the X-Men to the Marvel Cinematic Universe but there are already rumours swirling about characters from that world being slowly introduced over the coming years. Assuming these mutants aren't introduced as teenagers (something the previous franchise already explored), then Emma Frost feels like a perfect fit for Blunt.

Introduced as a member of the villainous Hellfire Club, she would later join the X-Men and become romantically involved with Cyclops. With both incredible psychic powers and the ability to turn her skin into indestructible diamonds, it would be infinitely more interesting exploring Emma's relationship with Scott Summers and the rest of the X-Men rather than returning to Jean Grey.

The British mutant exudes sexiness but is also fiercely intelligent and that's something we've seen from Blunt on a few different occasions (Wild Target, for example). It's hard to say where Emma could first appear before an actual X-Men movie but the Hellfire Club could definitely be used as a villainous entity in a non-mutant related franchise in the not too distant future.
