10 Characters That Could Make Up The MCU's Thunderbolts

Thanks to the almost unprecedented gap between Spider-Man: Far From Home and the upcoming Black Widow, Scarlett Johansson's first solo MCU movie is one of the most anticipated ever. One of the most intriguing aspects of the highly anticipated film is the villain, Taskmaster.

The character has already been shown to be able to mimic the styles of several different Avengers, and Marvel Studios has clearly gone to great lengths to keep their identity a secret. It would be a crying shame if after all this, the character joined the already too long list of 'one and done' MCU villains.

There is, however, a clear avenue for the franchise to keep Taskmaster alive for a good long while, and this is a future Thunderbolts affiliation. Secretary Ross appears to be turning up in Black Widow with his sights set on someone, and the character does have a history with the group from the comics.

Taskmaster was drafted into the Thunderbolts during Civil War to combat the Secret Avengers, and taking into account the timeline of Black Widow, and where it fits into the larger picture, something very similar could be happening in the MCU.
