10 Characters That Could Make Up The MCU's Thunderbolts

If Ross is coming to Black Widow to establish the MCU's newest super team, there is no reason to think that Taskmaster should be the only recruit. There is a handful of shiny new characters coming to the franchise for him to choose from, with one option standing out more so than the rest.

Though Rachel Weisz's Melina Vostokoff appears to be a mother figure for Natasha based on the trailers, she has a much more villainous past in the comics. Under the alter ego of Iron Maiden, Melina has fought Black Widow, and has also been a member of the Thunderbolts before.

In a similar way to Iron Man, Iron Maiden wears an armoured suit, granting her heightened defence and attacking capabilities. And like Taskmaster, there is far too much potential in Melina for her to appear in just one movie and be forgotten about. Marvel Studios would be missing out on a huge opportunity if they don't allow Melina to develop and evolve to her full potential.
