2. Wilson Fisk
Marvel has been fairly reluctant to merge their Netflix series with the rest of the universe so far. Whether it’s because of logistical reasons or internal disputes, this essential connection has been withheld from fans so far, but Homecoming could be the film to end this once and for all. That is, with the inclusion of noted Netflix villain Wilson Fisk into Spider-Man’s world.
Though he may be Daredevil's greatest enemy, few would forget that he's also a regular tormentor of Spider-Man as well.
While he may not be as shiny and exciting as some of Spider-Man's more ecentric rogues, the pros of using such Fisk are enormous. He’s got an already established backstory, he would help tie the Netflix heroes to the MCU and likewise, he would make Spider-Man feel more entrenched himself. And frankly, who wouldn’t want to see more of Vincent D’Onofrio in the role?
Kingpin certainly wouldn’t need to be the mastermind behind the plot but even a brief appearance would go such a long way to tying the MCU together and there has never been a more organic opportunity for it to happen.
