10 Characters Who Were Massively Improved In Sequels

4. Jack Jack - The Incredibles 2

It's probably pretty easy to make a baby a vastly improved character in a sequel, since they're going to have developed somewhat from a fleshy blob into an actual human between the movies' releases, and Jack Jack is a great example of that working in action.

Initially just a staple part of the family in The Incredibles before he was levelled up into an actual plot point in The Incredibles 2, his growth from freshly popped DNA into a superhero melting pot is one of the more entertaining aspects of the second film.

He's given powers, a personality, and an excellent showdown with a raccoon - what more could you want from character improvements here? He might still just be a baby, but Jack Jack at least becomes more of a person in The Incredibles 2, with the film building admirably upon the groundwork of the original.
