10 Classic Movies You Had No Idea Were Being Remade

7. Clue

The Fugitive Harrison Ford
Paramount Pictures

The murder mystery genre is a good one to resurrect, especially with the current success of Rian Johnson’s Knives Out – which is being hailed as this generation’s Clue. As it turns out, this generation will actually have their own version of Clue as the 1985 classic is being made.

Clue will be directed by actor Jason Bateman, written by Deadpool team Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, and will star Ryan Reynolds and Bateman. Details of the plot and other cast members are currently unknown, but it’s safe to say it’ll be based no the Hasbro board game where a group of strangers try to figure out who among them is a murderer when someone is murdered.

The film sees Bateman and Reynolds reunite as co-stars since 2011’s The Change-Up, and will be Bateman’s third project as director. Currently, the film has no confirmed release date.
