2. The Witches
In the 1990 film The Witches, directed by Nicolas Roeg, a young boy named Bruno and his grandmother go on vacation only to discover that their hotel is hosting an international witch convention, where the Grand High Witch is unveiling her master plan to turn all children into mice.
Based on a Roald Dahl children's book, it's no surprise that this insane dark fantasy is getting a remake. It will star Anne Hathaway as the Grand High Witch and Octavia Spencer as Bruno's grandmother.
Other cast members include Comedian Chris Rock, Stanley Tucci and Angus Wright, though their roles have not yet been confirmed.
The remake will be released in October.
