5. Jay Mohr - Jerry Maguire
If you're a fan of film, and not so much comedy, you probably think Jay Mohr hasn't been relevant since the nineties. You'd be mistaken, people. Mohr is one of the best stand-up comedians ever, and he also runs a successful (and hilarious) podcast. But who knows where he would be today if it weren't for Jerry Maguire. Cameron Crowe's uber-popular 1996 film features Jay Mohr as Bob Sugar, a sleazy sports agent, and the enemy of Tom Cruise's protagonist. The performance isn't Oscar-worthy or anything, but it's a lot of fun, and it was a great opportunity for the young comic. Mohr went on to be a great actor, appearing in some notable films over the years, including a Clint Eastwood flick, and recurring roles on a number of television series', including Suburgatory. He's a talented man.
