10 Comedy Movies Audiences Walked Out Of
9. Kuso
Have you heard of Kuso? Probably not. It's a weird movie from the mind of American music producer Flying Lotus, and once you listen to what takes place in it, the audience's reactions shouldn't come as much of a surprise.
The film can be described as a *deep breath* experimental body horror comedy anthology movie. It's a strange flick that tells four vignette stories about the mutated survivors of a recent Earthquake in Los Angeles. If you check it out, then you'll get to see such delightful sights as talking boils performing fellatio, anus-monsters being fed literal s**t and spoken-word jazz poetry. Yeah, a real mixed bag there.
If the movie sounds repulsive, that's because it is, and audiences at Sundance Film Festival seemed to agree. The film's premiere prompted huge walk-outs, with viewers leaving the theatre throughout the film. Lotus claimed on Twitter that "It was only like 20 people out of like 400 who walked out". Still, it is undeniable that the movie's grossness made many viewers sick to their stomachs.
The film is now streaming on Shudder, so if you've got some sick bags and want to test your gut, then give it a go.
