10 Comic Book Castings That Were Perfect (But In A Different Role)

1. Jesse Eisenberg As The Riddler Instead Of Lex Luthor

Eisenberg Riddler Jesse Eisenberg has had one hell of a week. The internet actually melted last weekend when the young Oscar nominated actor was officially cast as Lex Luthor in the upcoming blockbuster Batman Vs Superman. As usual, fans responded passionately both for and against the announcement. If you're in need of some reasons why Eisenberg is wrong for the part, head on over to this article to find out more. Forget Luthor. Eisenberg has definitely been cast in the right movie, but just as the wrong villain. His cerebral performance as Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network demonstrates what a perfect fit Eisenberg would be for The Riddler, one of Batman's most famous antagonists. The character requires a neurotic arrogance that Eisenberg was born to play. Jim Carrey was far too theatrical with his interpretation in Batman Forever, so it would be fantastic to see someone like Eisenberg ground The Riddler with a more realistic performance better suited to face the darker Batman fans have grown to love in recent years. Eisenberg in Batman Vs Superman is the definition of 'right movie, wrong role'. Let me know if you agree!
