Rogue is pure of heart, and views her deadly powers as a curse to endure. To Brightburn her, the pitch is simple... what if she didn’t?
Rogue can absorb the strength, memories and sometimes even the life of anyone she touches. Throughout most of her comic tenure, she therefore tries desperately hard to avoid touching anyone. When written well, it can be a massively compelling story... when done poorly you end up with X-Men: The Last Stand.
A Brightburnt Rogue wouldn’t be so cautious though.
