10 Comic Book Movie Characters Who Face Uncertain On-Screen Futures

1. Kang The Conqueror

Moon Knight Marc Asylum
Marvel Studios

Make no mistake, Kang will stick around for the long haul, but the same can’t be said for Jonathan Majors. On-screen, 2023 has been some year for Majors with starring roles in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Creed III under his belt already.

Off-screen, it’s been a complete and utter disaster. Majors is facing serious allegations including abuse, assault and harassment from multiple victims bringing his blossoming career to a complete and utter standstill.

To add insult to injury, Majors has reportedly been canned from his public relations and talent management agencies as well as multiple upcoming productions he was set to star in. The decision to stick or twist with him is a slippery slope seeing as the 33-year-old will have already filmed a huge chunk of his Kang scenes for Loki season 2 and most likely other upcoming projects.

Feige may very well be keeping half an eye on Ezra Miller’s situation over at DC, as Miller’s controversial history of misconduct and misdemeanours is yet to see them dismissed from the studio as of today.

With that in mind, Feige could look to adopt a similar approach. The downside to that of course is - the longer this Jonathan Majors scandal rages on - the more difficult it will become for the President of Marvel Studios to ignore.
